Mop is an original character (OC) that originated on 4chan’s /s4s/ board (Shit 4chan Says). Depicted as a simple, MS Paint–style green frog with wide googly eyes and a goofy, drooling expression, Mop embodies the absurd and innocent spirit of /s4s/ shitposting culture.

The character quickly became a cult meme mascot within the board, often used in redraws, edits, or reaction images accompanied by the simple exclamation: “Mop!” With its intentionally crude design and nonsensical personality, Mop represents the wholesome, surreal, and playful side of 4chan’s meme ecosystem.
